How to use Spending Summary
See how your spending varies over time or monitor your spending by category.
Here’s how to get started:
- Sign in to JPMorganOnline.com
- Select “Manage your spending” from the “Plan, track & manage” tile
- See a summary of your recent spending
- Choose which accounts to show in the “Showing” dropdown
- Choose a time frame to focus on in the “Show” dropdown
- Sign in to the J.P. Morgan Mobile app
- Scroll down, and tap “Manage your spending”
- See a summary of your recent spending
- Choose which accounts to show in the “Account” dropdown
- Choose a time frame throughout to focus on in the “Show” dropdown
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. You can re-categorize or exclude transactions in Spending Summary for eligible J.P. Morgan Chase accounts. You cannot re-categorize transactions for external accounts.
On JPMorganOnline.com or the J.P. Morgan Mobile app:
- Go to “Manage your spending,” select the account and time frame to show, and select “Spending” under the chart
- Locate and select the specific transaction you want to update
- Change the category for any transaction in the list or exclude any transaction with the “Exclude transaction” toggle
- Any transactions you exclude won't count toward your total spending amounts
