Mark S Luth
Mark Luth is a J.P. Morgan Private Bank Executive Director and Lending Specialist leading our credit business in Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale.
He recently relocated from J.P. Morgan’s New York office where he was a member of our Financial Sponsors Group delivering tailored and tax-optimized lending strategies complimenting the wealth agenda of highly successful private equity founders, fund managers, prominent business owners, and entrepreneurs.
After many years catering to the needs of Wall Street principals and sophisticated investors, he now brings this experience to the private bank’s rapidly expanding South Florida client base and is resolute in harnessing the breadth of J.P. Morgan providing access to strategic financing for opportunities that may arise to grow a thriving business, take advantage of dislocated markets, or pursue personal ventures.
As a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®), he is skilled in lending against concentrated positions and illiquid assets, including hedge funds and private equity interests, real estate, life insurance, aircraft, art and private stock.
In 2003, he joined J.P. Morgan, based in Florida and New York, focused on residential and commercial borrowing, including advising Private Bank clients based in Europe and Asia on U.S. real estate financing. Mark later spent several years in Houston as a Lending Advisor to energy industry executives and entrepreneurs before returning to New York in 2017.
He earned a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from the Lutgert College of Business at Florida Gulf Coast University and holds Series 7 & 63 securities licenses.
He is the first US born son to an Italian immigrant mother whose family fled Europe following WWII. Mark resides in Boca Raton with his wife and two dogs.
