Henry Becker, Jr. is an Executive Director and Market Team Lead for J.P. Morgan Private Bank serving the Dallas market. Henry leads a team of bankers to deliver the full range of wealth management strategies across planning, investing, lending and banking. He and his team support the goals of successful individuals, multi-generational families, hedge fund principals and other financial professionals, drawing on his deep capital markets experience and J.P. Morgan’s global resources.
By tapping into his Wall Street network and the firm’s intellectual capital, Henry brings innovative, value-driven solutions to clients across the financial spectrum. His trading background enables him to identify emerging trends and pursue strategic opportunities. With a holistic approach, he is adept at seamlessly coordinating advisory guidance across investing, banking, lending and estate planning, and is recognized for his deep understanding of market drivers and inventive approaches to wealth management.
Over his 30+ years on Wall Street, Henry has worked across a wide array of asset classes, including equities, derivatives, currencies, commodities, bonds, options, futures and private equity. Before joining the Private Bank, he was a Managing Director at Hayman Capital Management, overseeing investment execution and portfolio positioning for the hedge fund. Previously, he served as a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs in multiple capacities. From 2006 to 2013, he was a New York Stock Exchange Governor—a testament to his reputation among industry professionals.
Henry holds a B.S. in Accounting from Bryant University and a master’s degree in Taxation from Bentley University, graduating magna cum laude. Committed to continued learning, he is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, which better equips him to develop tailored strategies for short- and long-term financial goals.
A longtime Southlake resident, Henry is married with three children. He enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and visiting his ranch in West Virginia.
