Geoffrey Tully is Managing Director for Private Placement Solutions at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, where he leads the delivery of private placement life insurance (PPLI) and annuity (PPVA) strategies for ultra-high-net-worth clients. Geoffrey works closely with families, family offices, and advisors to design customized strategies that integrate tax efficiency, investment flexibility, and estate planning objectives.
Geoffrey brings deep experience in building and leading private placement platforms and advisory businesses. Before rejoining J.P. Morgan, he was a Director at a multi-family office, where he helped build and lead the firm’s private placement life insurance platform, overseeing product design, investment management, and policy administration. He also guided investment and insurance strategy for the firm’s largest clients and developed partnerships with external private placement partners and vendors.
Previously, Geoffrey was a Partner at a boutique insurance brokerage, where he played a central role in building the firm from inception into a national insurance advisory business. He led structuring and advisory efforts for ultra-high-net-worth families and institutional partners, helping to expand the firm across multiple offices and distribution channels.
Earlier in his career, Geoffrey was a Director at a structured credit hedge fund, where he managed investor relations and business development for U.S. family offices and wealth managers. He began his career at J.P. Morgan in New York in 2008, working in equity derivatives before relocating to Miami to serve as a Private Banker.
Geoffrey earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from the University of Delaware. He serves on the National Board of Common Threads, a nonprofit focused on providing nutrition education and cooking skills to children and families in underserved communities. He resides in New York with his wife, Jessica, and twin sons, Henry and Virgil.
