Q: Why J.P. Morgan Private Bank?
A: Since college, I had always heard about J.P. Morgan and its reputation for how it does business. J.P. Morgan prides itself on “first-class business in a first-class way,” and since joining the bank in 2015, I have found that to be the case in how we engage clients and stakeholders.
Q: What Employee Resource Groups are you a part of here? Why?
A: I belong to Adelante, a Hispanic ERG that has been a great way to both engage mentors and serve as a mentor to junior talent. I have also found Adelante to be a great networking opportunity with me and employees I would not always see from other lines of business here in Las Vegas.
Q: What has been keeping you at J.P. Morgan throughout the years?
A: I love the community feel of J.P. Morgan and how leadership genuinely cares for the team. Having worked at two financial institutions previously, I have really found J.P. Morgan to be unique in this sense, and I enjoy working with my colleagues.
Q: What do you look forward to when you come to work at the Private Bank?
A: My favorite part about coming to work at the Private Bank is seeing my colleagues. I really enjoy interacting with them, and the different backgrounds each member of the team brings, provides a lot more culture and flavor for the team. Additionally, over the years we have developed strong bonds of friends.
Q: Secret sauce?
A: The bank annually surveys all employees to gauge what the bank and leadership is doing well and where they need to improve. This goes through all levels, and most importantly, the results are scrutinized and actually sought to be improved. I think the secret sauce is that Private Bank leadership actually wants to be make this the best place to work and is focused on achieving it.
