Kate Donovan Morgan
Kate Donovan Morgan is a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. As the Head of the Ohio Market, Kate leads a team of Bankers and Investment Specialists in presenting wealth management strategies to a sophisticated client base, including individuals, family offices, corporate executives and foundations.
In her senior role, Kate drives the tremendous growth opportunities for Cincinnati, Columbus and Cleveland. Her focus is on providing the full breadth of resources necessary to help clients fulfill their multifaceted goals and leave legacies for the next generation. Kate serves as a face of J.P. Morgan in the community, and builds engaging relationships that accelerate the firm’s presence and brand visibility among business leaders, stakeholders, centers of influence and philanthropists. She and her experienced team serve as a powerful gateway to the firm’s strengths—innovative ideas, intellectual capital, investing, banking, lending and planning strategies necessitated by substantial assets.
Kate joined J.P. Morgan in 2011 and has a strong track record in leadership roles. Before her current position, Kate was the U.S. Head of Alternative Investments for the Private Bank, leading a team of Alternative Investment Specialists, responsible for advising private clients, family offices, and endowments and foundations on the construction of hedge fund, private equity, private debt and real estate portfolios. Previously, she worked directly with the Global Head of Investment Solutions to execute strategic initiatives across brokerage and managed investments.
Kate graduated from the University of Virginia and holds a B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce (dual concentrations in Finance and Marketing), and a double major from the College of Arts & Sciences in Religious Studies.
Natives of Cincinnati, Kate and her husband are thrilled to be engaged in the Ohio communities, and to be raising their son and daughter among family and friends.
