Matt Englizian is an Executive Director and Banker in the Seattle office of J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Matt leverages nearly two decades of experience to offer clarity and advice for affluent clients as they navigate complex financial decisions. He brings care and compassion to his client relationships, inspiring confidence that their wealth is being meticulously managed.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional, Matt blends his informed perspective with innovative strategies to help enhance the value of potential outcomes across the entire financial spectrum—investments, trust and estates, banking, lending and philanthropy. He is deeply familiar with the dynamic opportunities afforded executives and business owners and is forward-thinking in his approach to monetizing careers, preparing exit strategies and transforming first-generation endeavors into a lasting legacy. Matt has found that each client is uniquely individual and he views every interaction as an opportunity to educate and address bespoke needs.
Before joining J.P. Morgan in 2018, Matt was the Managing Director of Strategic Planning at Laird Norton Wealth Management in Seattle, serving the differentiated objectives of C-suite executives, private business owners and real estate investors. He was responsible for team management and led business strategy for the company. Previously, he was a Private Wealth Advisor with Lincoln Financial Advisors.
Matt earned a B.A. in Business Management with a minor in Economics from Oregon State University. He completed the Executive Development Program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. The full complement of Matt’s background and education enables him to speak the language of his high-performing clients and relate on common ground.
For more than 15 years, Matt has served in many volunteering and speaking capacities with the Seattle Children’s Hospital. He is currently the Vice Chairman of the Hospital’s Foundation Board.
Matt and his wife have two daughters, and their hobbies include world traveling, golf, tennis, exploring the outdoors and volunteering with their local church.
