Clay Erwin
Clay Erwin is a Managing Director and the Global Head of Investment Sales & Trading for J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. The Investment Sales & Trading team, comprised of over 200 specialists, serves a diverse client base across the globe. The team has a key remit of connecting clients to markets via forming market views, identifying investment opportunities, providing holistic advice and innovating to develop best-in-class execution across major asset classes including Equities, Currencies, Commodities, Fixed Income, Alternatives and Direct Private Investments. Mr. Erwin oversees $700B in brokerage and discretionary client assets globally and is a member of the Global Private Bank Operating Committee.
Mr. Erwin joined J.P. Morgan Private Bank as a Sales Trader for Latin America in 2002. Subsequently, he served as a Global Investment Specialist for the Andean Region, customizing and managing portfolios for some of the Private Bank’s most sophisticated and institutional-scale clients in Latin America. As a senior Investor, he was a member of the Latin America Investments Committee. More recently, Mr. Erwin led Global Equities, encompassing cash equity trading, equity syndicate, structured products, equity mutual funds and separately managed accounts.
Mr. Erwin holds a B.A. in Spanish Literature from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from EADE in Spain. He is also a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charterholder.
