Douglas Holthaus is an Executive Director and Client Advisor at J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Baltimore, MD. Before joining J.P. Morgan, Doug was a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management in Baltimore. Employing a tailored approach when working with his clients, he helped business owners, entrepreneurs, senior executives and affluent families streamline their financial lives and prioritize the family, businesses and philanthropic concerns, allowing them to deploy and pass on their wealth more effectively.
Prior to joining U.S. Trust in 2014, Doug was a Senior Relationship Manager with PNC Wealth Management, where he worked for six years as an advisor to affluent clients. Previously, he was a Vice President of Mercantile Capital Advisors, a predecessor firm of PNC, where he spent nearly five years as a Vice President of Alternative Investments and Mutual Funds. His experience also includes tenures with Deutsche Asset Management, where he was a Relationship Manager to institutional clients; Friedman, Billings, & Ramsey Group, where he designed employee stock plans and executive services; and Legg Mason, where he began his career in 1996 in Client Account Services.
Doug holds a B.A. in political science from Salisbury University.
