Managing Director Banker Team Lead
As a Managing Director and Banker working in the Washington, DC, office for J.P. Morgan Private Bank, Don Irwin oversees client relationships providing strategic advice and consultation while coordinating access to internal specialists and external client advisors. He has worked with affluent individuals and families as well as foundations and endowments since 1992.
In 2017, Don was recognized as one of the top Financial Advisors in Washington, DC, by Washingtonian magazine. He received similar recognition in the five prior years and was also recognized as one of the top 100 Private Bankers in the United States by Barron’s.
Don is experienced in working with clients who are preparing for a transitional event. He provides tactical guidance prior to the transaction and after with a focus on formulating asset allocation guidelines and overall planning. He has also been deeply immersed in structuring complex credit solutions and providing guidance on disposition strategies for concentrated investors.
Don is a board member of The Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts and serves on the Corporate Advisory Council at Martha’s Table. He earned a B.S. from Bryant College and his M.B.A. from New York Institute of Technology.
