Monica Fuentes is Head of Institutional Investment Solutions for Latin America and Global Families, advising some of the region’s large families and endowments on long-term investment policy, strategic asset allocation, and portfolio construction. She is a subject matter expert in long-term investing, bringing institutional discipline and a global perspective to complex, multi-generational portfolios.

She studied Economics at Universidad de los Andes, holds a PhD in Economics from Columbia University, and brings over 20 years of experience in global financial markets. Monica began her career at Goldman Sachs and went on to senior portfolio management roles at a global macro hedge fund and a large family office, working in New York and London.
