Ted Madara
Managing Director, U.S. Head of 23 Wall
Ted Madara is a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, where he is the North America Head of Institutional Wealth Management (“23 Wall”). He leads the partnership between the firm’s Corporate & Investment Bank and Private Bank in the US. In this role, Mr Madara focuses on servicing the Private Bank’s largest and most sophisticated clients in the North America region.
Before joining 23 Wall, Ted was the Co-Head of the U.S. Global Investment Opportunities Business (GIO) for JPM, based in New York. Ted joined the Private Bank in 2013 from Goldman Sachs, where he spent more than eight years building and running the Market Solutions Group in the United States and in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to Goldman, Ted ran the U.S. Equity Derivatives business for Commerzbank, AG. Before this, he was Head of the U.S. and Latin America Equity Derivative Structuring for ING Barings.
Ted holds a B.A. from Emory University and a J.D. from Washington & Lee University, where he was a member of the Law Review. He is involved with Change for Kids, a not for profit focused on NYC public schools, where he was an original founder and Board Chairman, and sits on the board of NEH Sailing, a not for profit focused on youth sailing.
