Market Manager for Italy and Greece
Pietro Sala is a Managing Director and Market Manager for Italy and Greece at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. He leads a team of professionals responsible for providing ultra-high-net-worth individuals with strategic advice and holistic strategies, focusing on their financial planning and wealth structuring needs.
Bringing over 25 years’ of experience, Pietro has worked closely with ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families and family offices. Prior to stepping into his current role, he was a Senior Banker on the Italian team. Prior to that, he was the Head of the J.P. Morgan Private Bank Latin America Team in Geneva.
Pietro began his career in London in 1999 as an analyst for J.P. Morgan Securities in the Fixed Income Department. In 2001 he moved to J.P. Morgan Asset Management and worked on different assignments in Luxembourg and Madrid. In 2002 he joined J.P. Morgan (Suisse) SA in Geneva. After working as an Associate Banker for 3 years, he then worked as a Banker, and Team Leader, for Ultra High Net Worth Mexican clients.
Born in Como, Italy, Pietro earned his degree in Economics and Business from The Universita’ Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. He was also an exchange student at the University of Applied Science in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Pietro is married with three children.
