Michael Keglovits
Head of Lending Solutions, International Private Bank
Michael Keglovits was recently appointed the Head of Lending for J.P. Morgan’s International Private Bank, overseeing a dynamic organization of nearly 100 lenders with a credit portfolio of $65bn. Based in New York, Mike has more than 20 years of experience with J.P. Morgan beginning in the Investment Bank and then in Wealth Management where he has held several key leadership roles across different regions. Most recently, he served as the Head of Credit Risk for the U.S. Private Bank, managing a diverse team of Credit Risk professionals responsible for >$100B in outstanding credit exposure and responsible for driving process improvement and innovation initiatives. Mike’s role included oversight of Credit Risk Measurement & Analytics, a team responsible for establishing lending value for marketable security collateral, stress testing, market risk management and liaising with advisors to risk manage complex trading strategies.
Prior to his leadership roles within the U.S. Private Bank, Mike was the Chief Risk Officer and Head of Credit Risk for the Latin America and Global Families Group within the International Private Bank, responsible for the risk oversight of a highly complex, cross-border business inclusive of $20B in outstanding credit exposure.
Mike has also served as the Executive Sponsor for AWM Risk’s Belong Initiative Team that strives to foster a culture of belonging through inclusive leadership and cohesive allyship aligned with the firm’s mission to ensure all feel valued and integral to the organization’s success.
Mike grew up in northeastern Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Delaware. He currently resides in Ridgewood, New Jersey with his wife and two sons who keep him busy with youth sports as both a coach and fan.
