
Louisa MacDonald
Louisa MacDonald is a Senior Associate and Philanthropy Advisor in The Philanthropy Centre, working with J.P. Morgan’s private clients across Europe and the Middle East; providing advice on focus, strategy and governance as well as ongoing opportunities for peer-to-peer learning.
Louisa came from the non-profit sector where she has worked for multiple environmental and international development organisations. Most recently, Louisa led the fundraising team for UNEP-WCMC, the specialist biodiversity arm of the United Nations Environment Programme. In this capacity she streamlined the organisations approach to development and grew their previously nascent philanthropy income stream by 200%. Louisa has a Masters Degree in International Development from SOAS, University of London and has a specific interest in gender, the environment and sub-Saharan Africa.
