
Global Head of Morgan Private Ventures
Kirk Haldeman is a Managing Director and the Global Head of Morgan Private Capital at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. Based in New York, Kirk and his global team connect clients with some of the world’s most compelling, exclusive investment opportunities.
Morgan Private Capital leads the origination and distribution of direct investments across venture capital, growth equity, private credit, and other private-market strategies. In this role, Kirk has the privilege of working with many of the world’s most forward-thinking investors and visionary business leaders.
Previously, Kirk served as Global Head of Equity Solutions and Cross Asset Structured Solutions, where he oversaw coverage for J.P. Morgan’s discretionary and brokerage client base. He provided strategic advice and execution across structured investments, hedging and monetization strategies, and bespoke derivative solutions.
Before joining J.P. Morgan, Kirk was a Portfolio Manager at Goldman Sachs & Co. in New York. There, he focused on developing and distributing custom strategies across equity, interest rate, commodity, FX, and fund-linked markets. He also led the creation and portfolio management of Beta+, a family of discretionary structured note strategies within the firm’s Wealth Management division.
Kirk earned his undergraduate degree summa cum laude from George Washington University and is a CFA® charter holder.
Kirk serves on the Board of Directors of Lumina, Inc., a creative platform that connects artists and represented talent to collaborative opportunities with brands and fellow creators. He is also Vice Chairman of iCouldBe.org, a pioneering virtual mentorship nonprofit, and a Trustee of the Museum of American Finance, where he supports efforts to preserve and interpret the history of American capitalism.
