
Karim Rekik
Region Head, Switzerland, Middle East and Emerging Markets
Karim Rekik runs J.P. Morgan’s Private Banking business across Switzerland, the Middle East and Emerging Markets. In his role, he oversees private banking activities across markets and booking centers in Europe and the US. He has teams based in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Israel, UAE, Luxembourg and the United States.
Karim has extensive market experience across various asset classes covering both ultra-high net worth clients and institutional investors. Prior to re-joining J.P. Morgan in 2010, he worked at Citigroup and J.P. Morgan in their investment banking divisions in various Investment Banking and Capital Markets roles.
Karim is a member of the Operating Committee of the EMEA Private Bank and of the Executive Committee of J.P. Morgan (Suisse), a Swiss-regulated bank, and co-chair of the EMEA Private Bank Technology Council. He has also served on a number of councils and committees that support the development of talent and diversity across the bank.
Karim is a graduate of the French engineering school Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris with a Msc in Civil Engineering and a Master in International Business. He currently resides in Geneva with his wife Caroline and two children.
