Borja Astarloa

Borja Astarloa is a Managing Director and J.P. Morgan Private Bank’s Head of EMEA Investments & Advice. He previously served as Region Head for Italy, Germany, and Spain, and before that, as Market Manager for Spain.
With over 30 years of experience, Borja has worked closely with ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and family firms. As the former Chief Investment Officer for Spain, he developed new and innovative investment strategies helping contribute to the Private Bank’s success.
Borja began his career with the firm in 1996, managing funds and fixed income, equity and balanced portfolios for institutional and private clients. He then joined the Private Bank in Spain as senior banker, advising individuals, family offices and family businesses on how to structure, manage and monitor their investments.
Borja holds a degree in Business Administration and Management (E2) from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE), in Madrid.
