About Us

Marie-Thérèse Yates

Managing Director, Swiss Wealth Advisor

Marie-Thérèse Yates is the Swiss Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Based in Geneva and Zurich, she supports the bank’s clients and their advisors with legal, tax, strategy and family governance matters. Her areas of focus include wealth structuring, succession planning, philanthropy, and next generation engagement and development.

Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Marie-Thérèse headed the single family office of a European family and, previously, she was a partner with Baker McKenzie where she led the Wealth Management and US Tax teams in Zurich and was a member of the firm’s EMEA Wealth Management Steering Committee.

Marie-Thérèse holds a J.D. degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. degree in Literature and Classics from Princeton University. She is originally French and American and previously lived in New York City, San Francisco, the Boston area and Paris. Marie-Thérèse resides in Switzerland since 2006 and is fluent in English, French and German.
