Managing Director Head of Investments
Rob Eschweiler is a Managing Director for J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Houston, Texas. He is responsible for leading the investment practice for high- and ultra-high-net-worth clients throughout Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi. Rob’s team of investment professionals is responsible for approximately $13 billion in assets under management and $28 billion in assets under supervision. The team provides advice on portfolio construction, asset allocation and manager selection across both public and private markets. Rob has 26 years of industry experience. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2000, he worked as a Portfolio Manager for high-net-worth individuals, endowments and foundations for FirstMerit Bank in Akron, Ohio.
Rob is an Advisory Board member of the Thirst Project, a global water charitable organization, and is a board member of Reach Youth Global, a humanitarian organization that meets the needs of children in countries such as Uganda, Kenya, Mexico and the Philippines. In the local community, he is on the Board & Finance Committee of Collaborative for Children, an organization whose mission is to improve the quality of early education in the Greater Houston area.
Rob holds a B.A. in Financial Management from Grove City College in Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He is a current member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute and the Houston Society of Security Analysts.
