Managing Director Head of Investments
Ian Kerrigan is a Managing Director and Head of Investments for the Pacific Northwest with J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Seattle. He works with individuals, families and foundations throughout the Pacific Northwest, and is a member of the Private Bank Global Investment Review Committee. He joined the firm from Wells Fargo Advisors, where he was part of a wealth management team.
A Seattle native with 28 years of experience in investment management, Ian began his career as a Portfolio Management Associate with Scudder Stevens and Clark in Boston. After six years on its global bond team, he returned to Seattle as Chief Investment Officer for an independent advisor. He subsequently joined UBS Financial Services to focus on global wealth management.
A CFA® charterholder, Ian is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Seattle. Music and education are a key focus for Ian within the Seattle community. Currently, he serves on the board of trustees for the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP, formerly EMP Museum). In the past, he has served on the boards of directors of Communities In Schools for Washington, One Reel, Northwest Choirs, and taught portfolio management at Seattle University.
Ian earned his B.S. in Financial Management from Boston University, and is a frequent contributor to CNBC, Bloomberg, Reuters and Dow Jones.
