How a special withdrawal request was fulfilled in a safe and timely manner

Situation

Given a volatile market environment, Santiago, a long-term Private Bank client, reached out to his banker to withdraw a significant sum of cash to keep on hand.

Our Approach

Due to the large amount of cash requested, the withdrawal couldn’t be completed at a single branch, as it exceeded what branches generally have available. Santiago’s J.P. Morgan team coordinated with him and several Chase branches to schedule pick-up times and to ensure Santiago had a safe and secure experience. The team quickly located multiple branches within Santiago’s vicinity during the pick-up date and worked with the branches to confirm the cash would be on hand. Additionally, the J.P. Morgan team in each branch ensured that proper security would be on site.

Outcome

Santiago had a seamless pick-up experience and was pleased with the team’s ability to coordinate the large cash transaction with short notice.
